A l’occasion du 1100ème anniversaire de la Normandie, Brittany Ferries s’est associée à l’ARCIS (Agence Régionale de Conservation de l’Image et du Son de Basse-Normandie) pour vous présenter l’exposition ‘Monuments et Contes’, que vous pourrez découvrir tout au long de votre traversée.
En vous promenant sur le navire, vous percevrez ainsi un autre regard sur la Normandie. De la fondation du duché de Normandie, en passant par les principaux personnages de la Normandie ducale du Xème au XIIIème siècle, vous pourrez revivre les temps majeurs d'une région qui était alors un des centres de l'Occident.
Cette exposition s’accompagne de petits films réalisés en partenariat avec France 3 et présentés sur deux écrans du navire. Ils racontent de façon ludique et succincte des grands moments de l’histoire de la Normandie ducale et accompagnent ainsi les différents panneaux que vous rencontrerez.

To mark the 1100th anniversary of Normandy, Brittany Ferries has teamed up with the Regional Agency for the Preservation of Image and Sound Materials (ARCIS) to bring you the exhibition “Monuments and Tales”, which you can discover throughout your crossing.
When walking about the ship you will experience Normandy in a new light. From the founding of the Duchy of Normandy to the major figures of the 10th to the 13th century ducal Normandy, you will be able to relive the greater days of a region that was at the time one of the centres of the West.
This exhibition is accompanied by short films made in partnership with France 3 and which will be shown on two screens. They present in an entertaining and succinct manner the great moments of the history of ducal Normandy and thus accompany the various panels you will come across.
